Yarmouth, Nova Scotia- The Yarmouth JR A Mariners are excited to announce the selection of Wedgeport, NS native Ryan Semple as our territorial selection. Semple was the captain of the South Shore Mustangs who accumulated 19 goals 15 assists in 36 games. Ryan also signed as a affiliate player and did dress for the South Shore Lumberjacks during the post season. Brogan Bailey Head Coach for the Mustangs had the following to say about Semple.
"Ryan was an exemplary leader for the Mustangs this year both on and off the ice. His work ethic and desire to consistently be his best was held up as an example for everyone else with our organization. We know these qualities will continue to serve Ryan well as he moves into the Junior ranks with the Marniers and wish him all the best." - Brogan Bailey
Yarmouth did not make a territorial selection in the 2nd phase.
