On Friday, September 7th the Yarmouth Mariners have announced they have traded Lauchie MacDonald and future considerations to the Truro Bearcats for a 5th round pick in the 2019 MHL draft and future considerations. MacDonald was originally acquired last preseason in a trade with the Edmundston Blizzard. In 47 regular season games, Lauchie had 7 assists and 54 penalty minutes. We would like to wish him the best of luck in the future.
In other hockey related news Mariners, HC./GM Laurie Barron has confirmed the team has signed Cade Neilson from the Ontario Hockey Academy. Neilson came to camp as a free agent.
We wrap up our preseason this weekend with a visit to South Shore tonight and at home tomorrow as we host the Valley Wildcats at 7:30 pm. Tickets can be purchased at the Mariners Centre online or in person at the box office.
