Mariners Complete Transactions

The Yarmouth JR A Mariners were busy over the past week completing two separate transactions. Laurie Barron had announced the team had traded 20-year-old forward Matthew Boring to the Leamington Flyers of the GOJHL for future considerations. Boring had originally signed with the Mariners after a very successful free agent showing at camp. In 14 games the forward had 5 goals and 1 assist also adding 8 penalty minutes. Shortly after the Boring transaction Laurie Barron also announced 18-year-old defenceman Kevin Parra-Vaughan was also traded to the Dryden IceDogs for future considerations. Kevin Parra-Vaughan like Boring also signed and made the team out of camp.

The entire Yarmouth Mariners organization would like to wish Matthew and Kevin the best of luck in the future.
