Yarmouth, N.S. (July 6, 2026) – The Yarmouth Mariners are pleased to announce that Kegin Watt has been officially been named as our Director of Hockey Operations and he will also serve in the role of Team Governor and represent the organization at the Maritime Hockey League Board of Governors. Kegin has been with the Mariners organization for the past 4 season as Head Scout and will remain in that role moving forward. He has also scouted at the QMJHL level with the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada. In addition, Kegin has coached at a variety of levels including spending 6 years with the South Shore Mustangs and 11 years with Hockey Nova Scotia in a variety of coaching capacities. Kegin has also been the recipient of the Hockey Nova Scotia Development Coordinator of the Year Award.
The Yarmouth Mariners are excited to officially welcome Kegin and look forward to the impact he will bring taking on these roles.
