Still in the HuntWith three games remaining for both the Mariners and the Ramblers, it will be an interesting two weeks. Yarmouth visits Bridgewater on Thursday night and then has two home appearances: the very next day against the Weeks Crushers and then just over a week later as the Halifax Lions are in town for the final game of the regular season. Amherst hosts the Campbellton Tigers on Saturday and then head to New Glasgow on Tuesday to face the Crushers. Their final game is against the Truro Bearcats on the 27th.
If the Mariners can maintain and finish ahead of the Ramblers, they will see action in the Bent mini-series against either Halifax or the Lumberjacks. Those two teams are currently locked in a tie for third with 42 points each.
One thing in all of this is certain: the Mariners need your support on Friday, February 19th as they host the Crushers! Game time is at 7:30pm. Call the Mariners Centre box office at 742-2155 for tickets.
